  • Teachers’ salaries in the various subjects taught in our New House,
  • Construction or repair work to improve our facilities,
  • A yearly trip to Siem Reap or to the beach.

- by promoting our work in your community and organizing fundraisers.

Making a donation in US Dollars directly to Sok Sabay

(– caution: for tax exemption in the US, see below)

The US dollar goes a long way in Cambodia, and any amount is extremely valuable to us.
If you feel you can make a regular donation, we encourage you to make these quarterly or yearly, transferred directly into Sok Sabay’s bank account, in order to reduce bank fees and administration costs.

Making a tax exempt donation in US Dollars through our US Entity, The Cambodia Children’s Fund:

US tax payers can make a donation to the Cambodia Children’s Fund, a New York registered charitable organization that supports the children of Cambodia and donates funds to Sok Sabay. Donors will receive a tax receipt for charitable contributions for purposes of their US tax returns. Donations must be in US dollars from US bank accounts only.

Becoming a Godparent by sponsoring a child or a student in a local university:

becoming a Godparent to one or more of the children allows you to support a child as we seek to help them regain their future. The Godparents can exchange letters and gifts with their godchild & visit them  in SOK SABAY Home.

The costs are:
USD 890 per year to contribute to children’s life ( lodging,clothes, 3 meals and two snacks a day;transport and partly their medical needs)

USD 1,500 per year to support our university students’ s life: ( yearly university fees,  2 new sets of uniforms; monthly allowances,extra nutrients like rice and fish tins, text books and medical).

2010-2011, we have 43 children living in the centre, 8 external pupils living in their provinces, and 13 university students.We have 100 per cent success amongst all of them ( school children and university students).
